Hirano Aya explains “discussion for mutually agreed divorce” with husband Taniguchi Masashi following Bunshun report

平野綾 On the 11th, voice actress and actress Aya Hirano (36) updated her Twitter account. Following articles about her marital relationship published in the online edition of “Weekly Bunshun” and other publications, she revealed that she and her husband, actor Masashi Taniguchi (46), are “in the midst of discussing a mutually-agreed divorce.”

Hirano began his post by writing, “Today at 12:00, an article concerning the relationship between the couple was published by Bunshun,” and commented on the contents, “As I answered questions in the interview, some of it is true and some of it is completely unfounded.”

Regarding her relationship with her husband, Taniguchi, she explained, “We are currently in the process of discussing a mutually-agreed divorce through our lawyers, and it is too early to tell everyone about it, so we do not wish to cause concern. We intend to make a proper announcement at the appropriate time.”

He apologized for the incident and stated, “We would like to aim for a swift resolution without lies or deception and in good faith.”

He also wrote, “I am truly sorry to everyone who wholeheartedly congratulated us on our marriage…” and asked, “I’m sure there will be a lot of conflicting information out there, but I hope that you will not be misled and will continue to watch over us,” once again apologizing.

Hirano announced her marriage to Taniguchi in January of this year.
